About Jesus Train Ministries
Our Story
Jesus Train Ministries began with a personal journey of faith, healing, and surrender. For more than thirty years, Susan and Dan Hunt walked through seasons of blessing, loss, struggle, and breakthrough that ultimately shaped the heart of this ministry.
Susan grew up knowing and experiencing the presence of the Lord from a young age. When she and Dan married at eighteen and moved to Washington State, she carried that faith with her, but longed for deeper community and discipleship. Over the years, life brought moments that tested their marriage, their trust, and their understanding of God’s love. They faced grief, spiritual battles, and years of striving without true connection.
Everything began to change when they encountered real, relational discipleship through a church community that welcomed them, loved them, and walked with them. Dan experienced a life–altering commitment to Jesus in 2019, years into their marriage. Susan encountered healing from the loss of their daughter. Their marriage was restored. Their faith was renewed. And both discovered the freedom found in placing Jesus on the throne of their hearts.
During this time, God began stirring something deeper. After decades of visiting Washington State almost every year, Susan sensed a calling to speak into the spiritual weight she saw in those communities. Women were carrying grief, isolation, and burdens God never intended them to bear. The Lord invited her to bring a message of joy, hope, and restoration.
The Birth of the Jesus Train
The name came during a moment of surrender. Susan realized she had made idols out of expectations, people, and outcomes. She laid everything before the Lord and chose to follow Jesus fully, inviting her family to join her. What began as a personal declaration became the heartbeat of a ministry calling others to climb aboard and move toward Christ.
The Mission Today
Jesus Train Ministries exists to help women and families take their next step with Jesus through:
Christ–centered conferences
Discipleship tools taught with clarity and compassion
Partnership with local churches
Ongoing encouragement long after events end
Every story shared and every tool offered points back to the hope found in Jesus. Our mission is simple: to place Him at the center of everything and to help others do the same.
